Admire Mars standing 2021 Australian breeding season
John Messara has long been a fan of Japanese racing and breeding with the leading breeder adding Admire Mars to the Arrowfield roster for 2021.
Admire Mars will be available for inspection on the next OnTrack Hunter Valley Horse and Wine Tour (10 -14 October, 2021), with only a handful of seats remaining.
An unbeaten champion two year-old, Admire Mars is a triple Group 1 winning miler and the only three year-old winner of the prestigious Hong Kong International Mile.
Left in his wake at Sha Tin was champion 7 time Group 1 winner Beauty Generation, stamping Admire Mars as one of the worlds best 3yo milers in 2019.
Admire Mars is a grand son of the great Sunday Silence being by Daiwa Major and was bred at Katsumi Yoshida’s Northern Farm.
Out of the Medicean mare Via Medici, Admire Mars is Danehill free making him highly compatible with the Arrowfield broodmare band, and indeed, the wider Australian stud book.
Admire Mars will stand alongside another Hong Kong International mile winner in another Japanese bred mile star in Maurice.
With his oldest Australian progeny 2, Maurice has made a very good start to his stud career thus repaying Arrowfield’s faith in the Japanese breed.
Maurice has produced 6 individual winners and 5 stakes place getters in Mazu, Maurice’s Medad, Invinsible Tears, Morioka and Port Louis.
Admire Mars stands at Arrowfied Stud in 2021 at a fee of $22,000, whilst Maurice is available at $44,000.
