Ontrack’s partnership with Brisbane’s champion trainer Tony Gollan was formally launched at a function held at the Fiction Bar in beautiful Raby Harbour.
Around 70 existing and new Ontrack clients enjoyed the evening which was hosted by Ontrack and Sportsbet to mark the new partnership with Gollan Racing at Eagle Farm.
“Ontrack is sending two horses to Tony and we wanted to acknowledge the new arrangement to a group of existing owners as well as new clients,” said Ontrack’s Grant Morgan.
Gollan has been allocated a Foxwedge Filly and Real Impact colt in the initial batch of horses from Ontrack.
“The Foxwedge filly is half sister to Tony's very good sprinter I'm A Rippa. So it made perfect sense for to send her to him."
The function was used to launch the public marketing for the Real Impact colt who is out of a More Than Ready mare.
"He's a real eye catcher. I think there is an awful lot of More Than Ready about him.But I like the strength and toughness coming from the Japanese horse Real Impact."
"So many shuttle stallions aren't tested in Australia. Real Impact raced twice in Australia at Group 1 level. He won the Gr 1 George Ryder defeating Criterion and Kermadec. He was then a brave second in the Gr 1 Doncaster on a wet track which didn't suit."
The night was staged at Fiction Bar and Restaurant at Raby Bay, which is part owned by long term Ontrack supporter Jamie Haimes who shared in the ownership of Savanna Amour.
The evening was MC'd by the former voice of Brisbane racing, Alan Thomas and was co-sponsored by Sportsbet.
